AnjunabeatsのMix新シリーズ。Anjuna古株によるMixだけに2枚とも"初期のAnjunabeats"のサウンドを思い出させてくれる、最新・未リリース曲を余すことなく盛り込んだ豪華な内容。

 

Disc1でMixをつとめるのはSuper8 & Tab。『Volume Three』に収録された「First Aid」、今年Anjunabeats最大のヒット作となった「Helsinki Scorchin'」が記憶に新しい彼らが、このMixでもその相性の良さが健在。

アイルランドの歌姫Cara Dillonの曲をアレンジした話題曲「#1 Cara Dillon vs. 2 Devine - Black Is The Colour (Coco & Green Remix)」に始まり、「#6 Daniel Kandi - Child」までの流れは非常に楽しめました。が、その後の「#7 David West - Make U Mine (Mike Shiver's Garden State Mix)」は、塩っぱいvocalのせいでDavid West×Mike Shiverの組み合わせも効果半減。

Disc2は、こちらもご存知Smith & Pledgerの片割れMark Pledger。オープニング「#1 8 Wonders - Sex On The Beach (Depths Of My Thoughts Sunset Dub)」で、イントロの波の音が美しいバレアリックトランスに夢中に。「#7 Above & Beyond - Tri-State (Robert Nickson Remix)」から「#9 Nitrous Oxide - Morning Light」「#8 Mike Shiver - Morning Drive」辺りが山場で、終盤は…。
